Here's the quickest and easiest way to get exclusive and qualified roofing and solar leads in 2020

and the easiest way to get exclusive and qualified leads for your roof in the solar business. So let's dive right into it. So the first and most powerful tip that I have for you is that you need to escape the competition. That's like the most important thing. Escape the competition. And what do I mean by that? Well, the most competitive platform out there today in terms of advertising in the roofing and solar industry is Google, right? Everyone is doing Google. Pretty much every roofing solar company has a website and because of that, they have like a Google,
Google my business, they trying to rank for a certain keyword. All of these SEO agencies are trying to sell them like one year contracts pay us upfront, two and a half thousand dollars per month, and we may be can rank your website and everyone has an SEO agency hired trying to rank point, you know, roofer in your city, you working in roofer in Dallas, Fort worth or wherever now might be, right? So the competition on Google is insane. SEO, it's tough to get results. It's not impossible, but it's going to cost you a ton of money if you're going to hire someone because it's gonna take a lot of time. There's an SEO agency telling you that it's can take short amount of time. Well, that's not true, right? If everyone has an SEO agency hired and everyone is trying to rank for the same keyword, it's not going to be easy. That's, it's just self-explanatory. Right? So, and don't get me wrong,
I missed, I'm a big believer in SEO. It's super powerful when you get to rank when you're number one, it can be very powerful to do organic SEO for certain search terms. But here's another thing that, you know, Google wants to make money as well, so they're getting more, more and more real estate to the ads. Right? You know, back in just a couple of years ago, they're the, it used to be like a one or two ads on top now for certain search terms,
five or six ads on top above the organic. So it's like six paid ads. Then it is like the top three box, you know, with a Google, a Google my business, and then there's the organic search results. So yeah, it's, it's a tough when you know who you might spend a ton of money before you have a rank if you ever, and go to Google paper click. And it's also very competitive and since it's so competitive in the roofing and solar industry, the prices are becoming higher and higher all the time. It takes, it takes more time to get results. It's tougher than ever. And if you're going to have an SEO in the CRN, if paper cliquiness he hired to do that for you, it's going to cost even more money, right? So escape the competition. That's my first tip that you should escape competition. The second tip that I have for you is to do social media marketing. So if you escape the competition on, on Google, where should you go? Should you do lead gen sites? Now? Shouldn't we do offline marketing? None of cheater do like call centers and door knocking is that if you skip over now
you should move over to social media marketing like social media advertising is the future as we know it. Everyone is staying down their phones all day and the average American spends between two and a half to three hours per day on social media right now. Think about it, the average American, that's all age groups, it's not alone. Only young people on social media, all age groups from young kids to older people are spending. The average American is spending two and a half hours to three hours per day on social media and over three hours per day. On their phone doing that.
So it's like it's insane. So you need to figure out the social media game, escape Google, and figure out social media, especially Facebook and Instagram is grateful. The witness solar industry, and instead of paying those Legion sites on Google eat, it's $130 billion sometimes duplicate leads. You can get high quality exclusive leads on social media for between 10 to $20 in the roofing industry and normally a little bit higher for the solar industry, like between 15 to $30 still a lot better than those other alternatives out there. Another big huge perk with doing social media marketing is that you can share videos and you can share images, right? So by sharing videos on those social media platforms as well with paid advertising campaigns,
you can do branding. You don't need to do branding on print or super expensive TV commercials anymore. You can distribute this high quality branding content that you have on social media and then you can't do that on Google, right? You just have a link there. There's nothing building a brand on Google except if you do like banner ads, but that's not gonna work. If you're going to like, no, that's not a good solution to find new leads. Like you know, you either do like the
pay per click and then you can like target people with banner ads but still video is going to be 10,000 times more powerful than a banner ad for branding purposes. And if you're not currently doing branding, you should. Why? Well, you want to control the perception of your company obviously and you want to educate homeowners in your area about your business and give homeowners in the area to chance to start to like you, trust you and ultimately feel like and know you. You need to give them something that you know, controlling perception of, of, of your company and give them some type of video that ties an emotional attachment to that homeowner. Because if they feel they know you before they ever do business with you, when you tried to close them or when you sales people go out and educate them about the roof or about their new special solar panel. If they have seen branding videos of you and they feel like they know you already, the entire sales process is going to be a lot, lot easier. We've tested this a ton for our customers and when you start to do branding, like the sales conversions just go off a ton,
but you need to have good branding content to do that. Obviously. The third thing that I want to talk about them is that you need to control it. Own your own online sales system, control and own your own online sale system and you want to automate your online sales system so when you escaped Google and move over to social media and you start to generate leads and traffic from social media, you need some type of system in place for your business. An online sales system that converts traffic into leads and convert leads into new customers. Right? And we have tested like
a bunch of different components, a bunch of different CRM system, a bunch of different marketing automation systems, followup systems, and we have a super good online sales system in place on our website. And you took in the comm if we have specifically designed for, for the roof in the solar industry, it's insane. It's super easy to plug and play system, super simple to set up and use and it's automated with marketing automation and AI. So you just set it up and then you pretty much just click play and then everything is running for itself. So it saves leads into the CRM system automatically it sends up leaving information to your sales reps will automatically, it sends out confirmation emails, text messages to the homeowner, although automatically it does. The nurture process will automatically the follow process fully automatically and you can also do the return
arguing the process full automatically as well. So you just set it up, press play, and then it's running for itself and it's awesome. Machine learning and marketing automation and AI. It's the future for sure. For sure. So you need an automated online sales system in place. The fourth thing that I want to talk about is to brand on social media and do retargeting. And I'm also, I've already talked about this a little bit, but what retargeting is that when someone see your ad
on Facebook just once or they go to your website, just once, you can save that person and you can start to follow them around on the infants. So if they come to your website once, you can show them Facebook ads every single day. Instagram ads, every single day, YouTube ads every single day. And then Google display banner ads every single day as well. And then I'm sure that you have experienced this or you have know you go to Amazon and look for a new pair of new earbuds or a new pair of running shoes and then you leave Amazon and then you start to see those running shoes all over the place. That is retargeting. And you can do that for it own booth in the solar business right now in 2020 as well. And you should do that as well because it's cheap. And it's most the most powerful type of advertising that you can do. So when you do retargeting and when people start to see you everywhere, you want to brand yourself with retargeting. So if you have high quality videos, branding videos of your company, you can just put those branding videos into the retargeting campaign and people will see your branding content all over the web or from the company. That's super, super powerful and as mentioned earlier, it will take your business to that next level. Then
we use the seals conversions a ton. Then the fi fifth and final thing that I want to talk about is that you should escape the offline marketing, right? If you're still doing a ton of offline, it's so old school, right? It's like if you're still relying upon direct mail campaigns like why are we doing that? You can attract anything. You don't know really what the results are and if you are tracking results from direct direct mail campaigns by having like different addresses on the flyers or different phone numbers on the flyers, like you are doing so much manual work man.
But kudos to you though. If you're doing that, but it's, it's just not, it's not the smartest way to do advertising 20 and I know that if you're doing [inaudible] campaigns or you're tracking everything, you're putting in a lot of time doing that, right? And I'm sure that you're not the biggest fan of it. And I'm sure that the results are the best media. So escape offline, escape, direct mail, escape, billboards, expensive. And like, he doesn't [inaudible] anymore. Escape TV and radio commercials, super expensive. It's just insane when you compare it to social media marketing and also team or radio commercials, like what homeowner likes to be called cold nowadays before seeing in a brand new content or anything like all, some door off. It's like, yeah, everyone becomes so happy when there's a sales person on the porch door knocking, right?
I don't know a single person that's looking forward to sales person knocking on their door. And that's just the truth. So, uh, but again, there are some great door knockers out there. I'm not gonna lie like, but it's, it's so, you know, you have to spend so much time. It's so you have to hustle. Right? And I don't know, I'm not the biggest fan of it. It's really when you can do online marketing and social media marketing, it's so much more effective. It's automated and cyst mites systemize,
you save money, you save time and you makes everything so much more convenient for the homeowners as well. The average Americans spending two and a half hours per day right now on social media and all the hours per day on top of that, on their iPhone or mobile phones though. So they have their focus and attention on their phones. Why aren't you advertising on the phone? That's what you need to figure out 2020 and beyond. So that's it for today's video.
