Scaling is the dream of most roofing and solar companies. Take over the area, their county, their state, whatever their goal may be it’s often there.
Of course, those who are happy with a crew of a half-dozen and a modest living exist but they’re probably not here looking for leads.
The key to making sure that you’re able to get ahead with your marketing is predictability and automation. Without these two key factors you’ll be stuck in a cycle which can hurt your business in the long run.
Ditch the Boom-Bust
Look, all contractors know that through certain times of the year there’s going to be more demand for their services. It’s just the way it is and that’s definitely not what I mean.
Instead, many times contractors find their marketing techniques lead to a boom-bust source of leads and while repeat customers are common in the industry they also don’t need you putting on a new roof or solar panel every month.
A constant source of leads is the lifeblood of any roofing business which wants to not only remain alive but healthy.
An overload of work followed by a rut where it’s hard to scrounge up enough jobs to keep your crew busy. It’s hard to keep up with and when it’s difficult to find jobs your crew isn’t going to be too happy.
Even worse, you may expect things to keep going that way and begin to expand your fleet and crew only to turn around and find that there simply isn’t enough work to support the newly built infrastructure.
In the end, even a successful marketing campaign can be enough to drive you absolutely batty.
A consistent but possibly less powerful marketing campaign is actually preferable for many contractors.
Let’s Talk About Predictability
A predictable system is preferable. If you know that you’ll generate between 50-75 new leads each month and that 40-60% of them will convert you’ll find yourself with the ability to scale your business up accordingly.
Many people insist that a predictable marketing system simply doesn’t exist.
That’s quite untrue, you can ask some of my past clients.
Predictability means stable growth.
You don’t buy a new truck and hire a new solar technician because you happen to have the money to do so at the time invested in your business… you do it because you know that your business will grow by a predictable amount within the next month.
Likewise, you can also help to avoid gluts where you don’t have work.
What if I told you that you didn’t have to scale up your marketing team with each passing month, however?
Automation is the Key to Scalable Success
An automated marketing system isn’t as complicated as it sounds, but it’s not something which many people know how to do right off the bat.
Automation means less man hours put in upfront, certainly, but it also means that you can scale with the same amount of marketers, just increase the budget.
Automation can be done through a variety of methods which often seem quite opaque to those looking in from the outside. It also requires a lot of fine tuning for your industry and it’s going to take quite a bit of work from the front end to get it done.
There’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to learn, however.
The problem for many roofers is that many of the marketers out there boasting “automatic” systems charge high prices per lead.
Automation doesn’t mean automatic.
Instead, automation takes the bulk of the work out of your hands and allows you to scale more easily since you don’t need quite as many people running customer service, marketing, and other complex parts of the backend of your business.
Through proper use of automation you’d be surprised at how much you can achieve with how little as long as you don’t expect the system to do all the work for you. Automation can also hurt you if it’s not monitored properly but that’s pretty rare in this industry.
Now all you’d have to do is figure out a system, fine tune it over the course of a few years, and… Voila! You’ve just attained a predictable, well-oiled machine.
If you don’t have the couple of years it’ll take for someone to figure it out and you’re not willing to outsource it to someone who knows how to handle it, however, there is another way.
The Next Level Roofer Course
I’ve been helping roofers with my automatic systems for Facebook advertising and customer management with immeasurable success.
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution for everyone.
This is a program which I designed and implemented successfully for only roofers and solar companies. By getting in-depth with the industry I’ve pinpointed problems and created a program which has allowed my clients to scale with predictable growth rates and minimal extra manpower.
But… I can only work with so many people and I feel like my system should be available to every roofing and solar company that feels they’re ready to scale up their business.
So, I’ve decided to offer a course which details precisely how to bring this system to life for your own roofing or solar business and why it works so well.
My clients in the past have achieved results which were consistent and successful. Most have found it amazing that I was able to generate leads for them with such efficiency and precision.
If you’re ready to scale your business up and are dedicated to lasting growth it’s definitely something to consider.
Of course, I wouldn’t just have you take my word for it. Instead, I’ve offered part of my course for free just so that you can see how powerful, efficient, and predictable you can get with your results.
It’s worked for many others, why not see if it’ll work for you?
