Here is the new way to get qualified and exclusive roofing leads generated under your own brand.

But for today I have an awesome video for you. I'm going to talk about the new way that you should generate qualified and exclusive roofing leads under your own brand. And I have some notes in front of me. So I'm going to cover the online sales system. You need marketing automation and AI.
We're going to talk about the traffic source, the best traffic source that you should utilize, retargeting and how, how you should do that clause cross-platform. And then finally I'm going to talk about the importance of branding and how you should do it in 2020 and beyond. So let's dive right into it. So the first point is the online sales system. So if you're going to do advertising the right way, now going into 2020 and beyond, you don't want to utilize these lead generation websites anymore. You don't want to utilize offline, you know, print, direct mail, billboards, magazines or TV and radio. You want to escape that. You also wanna escape the competition on Google because the competition on Google right now in the roofing industry is and is insane as I'm sure that you know, the price is just two years ago or one year ago on Google paper.
Paper click doesn't even compare to today. Everyone is doing SEO. So it takes a bunch of time to get results as well. And also you don't need to hire marketing agency and more truth be told, you know, a lot of these marketing agencies cost a bunch of money every single month and they don't generate any real results because what we can do now in 2020 and beyond is that you can have an online sales system in place that you can automate with AI and machine learning and marketing automation. So yeah, it runs for itself pretty much. You just have to check on it once per day. And this is really the new way to do advertising in 2020 so all your own advertising system that you own and control yourself and then learn how to automate it so it just runs for you and bring in exclusively, it's generated under your own brand and under your own website, the leads are qualified, 95% of everything is automated.
You just have to call the leads, qualify them on the phone, set an appointment or so forth, and the followup process and all of that is automated. So this is, it all begins with online sales systems. So we see, obviously we do some type of advertising out there on the web. We bring that traffic into an online sales system and that's what this online sales system needs to do is to convert traffic into leads and convert leads into new customers essentially. And if someone doesn't convert into customer, we need to follow up with and we do, we want to automate that entire process where if someone doesn't sign up or doesn't answer the call, we want to follow up with them obviously. And um, yeah, we'll want to put them into the CRM system fully automatically. You don't want to do that manually anymore. You don't want to get the leads into an Excel sheet or to an email inbox and then put them in there manually.
No, no, no. You want to automate that and pro and that entire process, systemize everything, streamline everything. And then finally, we also want to do something called retargeting so that you appear everywhere all the time, but really the core of everything when you want to advertise these new ways that you need the heart, then the brain of the system is the marketing automation and AI in this online sales system. So that's the first thing that you need to figure out. And we show you exactly how to do that step by step. Click by click on our website. But I want to pace through this video rather quickly. So the first thing is mentioned is the online sales system. The second thing that you need to figure out is marketing automation and artificial intelligence. So yes, we have some awesome technologies right now in 2020 and beyond.
And if you're not utilizing marketing automation and AI for your, for your business, you're just wasting your time. You can make your business so efficient, so streamlined, so systemized, but you placing these awesome technologies. And the best part is it doesn't cost you a bunch of money. So marketing automation is the technology that you use to automate a lot of your marketing efforts, right? So we can put them into the CRM system fully automatically. As I've talked about, we can also run the ads for the automatically, but that's kind of marketing automation. But the apps are obviously running for themselves. When you generate lead, put them into to the CRM system automatically. We can do the followup process, pull the automatically, we can send out the confirmation email to the homeowner immediately when they request a free estimate in their little form that, Hey John, we just received your request for fee estimate.
We will follow up with you or we will call you here shortly. And thank you so much. Here's a coupon code for example. All right, you can send that with email. You can also send it with text. And so we can automate that. Marketing automation can handle all of that part, sending personalized messages to the homeowners. That request we asked mess, but we can also send out the lead information to your sales reps, right? So if you, uh, I don't know how many sales reps you have for your company, we can send out the lead information to the right sales person. So if you're in the state and you're in different areas in the state, in different cities in the state, you can, you can make sure that marketing automation system sends out the leads to the right person with email and text. And then finally of course the AI and machine learning, they also work on the ad sites or then make sure that you've all add on the advertise to the right people and so forth.
But you can also do this retargeting part where where someone see your ad or comes to your business just once. You can start to show them ads all over the web but follow them around them. And we want to talk about more about that here in a second. But that's also handled by the marketing automation and bicycle abusers. So that's the second thing. The third thing is traffic, right? So you need traffic if you're going to do your own advertising, if you're going to have your own lane scene system. If you're not going to depend on home advisor or offline marketing methods or if you're not going to depend on any marketing agencies. Again, if you're going to own your own online sales system and have computers working for you, you need to decide upon which platform you should get traffic from, right? And traffic is basically just visitors coming to your business visitors or have seen your ad or are interested in what you have to offer.
Right. And what, so what is the best traffic source out there right now for the roofing industry? Well, I've tested pretty much everything. We've compared Google to LinkedIn for the commercial size and we've tested Facebook with tested Instagram with Festa YouTube ads. Uh, you know, I'm not even going to include home advisor and those needs and sites in here because that's not really a traffic source. But we've tested everything. And the truth is that Google is very, very popular. I'm sure that you're aware of that. If you're a roofing business owner, that everyone's doing SEO and everyone is doing Google pay per click. And what happens when something is very popular? Well, it becomes very competitive and the prices go up and since it's the search engine you pay per keywords, right? You just offer or you just bid on a keyword essentially. So the prices on those bids has gone up a lot and there's a lot of different companies trying to rank for the same keyword disasters like roofer in Dallas, Fort worth or whatever not might be.
So everyone is competing on Google and those Legion sites. So if you just move over to Facebook for example, you escape the competition, you can get higher quality leads, you can get cheaper leads and you can also deliver, generate the leads under your own brand and your own logo. And you can also do the brand building on social media, sharing videos and images, which you cannot do on Google. It's just a link, a text link or you know. Yeah, it's pretty much just the link. And if you think about it, their objective in Google is kind of crazy because when someone Google something, what you do if you're a service based business is that your business is going to show up. But also like 15 or of your competitors are going to show up on the same page as well. So you're, you're pretty much asking for competition, right?
And generate a lot of tiger leads because homeowners just open up the first five, the best five options, and then they request SBS men's for not all of them. Right? So if you move over to Facebook, you're going to be able to show the logo, what's an image of your company attacks the headline. And when someone sees your ad, you're going to be the only company there on their screen that advertisers do them. So, and also the, there's not a lot of roofing crop contractors doing Facebook advertising the right way. Right now, a lot of them has Facebook business pages posting like organic content, but the amount of roofers to do real campaigns on Facebook that they automate them have an online sales system connected to. It's like zero. So if you figured that out and implement what we teach you how to do, you know you're going to start generating leads from between 10 to $20 that are exclusive to you and there are qualified of real high quality real homeowners in your area that are actively searching for your services.
And we utilize AI and big data and machine learning to identify people in your area that are actively looking for your services. That's why it's so important to utilize computers and this new technology to work for you instead of trying to work against it. So yeah, that's, that's the traffic source. Make sure that you utilize Facebook. You know it's the best traffic source out there right now. It's crazy. You can get exclusive leads for 10 to $20 that's a lot better than duplicate HomeAdvisor leads for $130 if you ask me, the fourth thing that I want to talk about is retargeting and doing that cloth cross platforms. So what is retargeting? Well, you can imagine it like this. So if you go to Amazon for example and you are looking at a new pair of headphones or looking at new pair of shoes, right, and you check on these shoes, what happens after you leave that side if you don't buy them once you are going to start to see those shoes all over the web.
When you go to cnn.com or you read your favorite tech blog or your favorites to go to roofing contracts or dotcom, you start to see ads, you will see those shoes. So the Facebook, you go to Instagram, those shoes, shoes are following you around. When you go to LinkedIn they are following you around there as well. So that is retargeting and that IX is exactly what you can do for your roofing business as well. If someone comes to your website just once or if they come to your Facebook business page, just ones, you can start to show them ads all over the web, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, all the websites out there on those banner ads and that's called retargeting. And you need to learn how to do that. Cross platforms, not only just on Facebook, not only just on Instagram, not only just some Google, you need to do it on all platforms.
And the best part about retargeting is that it's very cheap and it's more powerful advertising method that you can do because you're only advertising to people that are already know who you are essentially. So if they've seen you once, they're going to start to see a lot more. So you bring new traffic in from Facebook, and then once they've seen you, once you start to re target them on all platforms, it's really, really powerful. The fifth and final thing that I want to discuss here today is branding and on social media. So branding, as you know, is super important. Super, super powerful. Why? Because you want to control the perception of your company, right? If you're not doing branding and homeowners have no idea who you are, they have no idea what you stand for. They haven't seen any faces from within your company. They did.
They have no feeling towards right. If they don't know you, they won't do business with you. That's just the truth. So if you're not doing any type of branding right now, you should, because when you do, your conversion rates will go up a lot. So that's the first option. Don't do any branding at all, which is stupid. The second option is to do branding on, you know, offline. So TV and radio commercials or print or whatever now might be right billboards or yard signs is, and we're sending out direct mail campaigns, but mainly like TB nurses. Right. But the problem with TV is that it's very expensive. It's super expensive to new TV and not a lot of people you know, spend, you know, I don't have a phone here right now, but the average American spends like two and a half hours per day right now on social media and like three and a half hours per day on their mobile phones.
So the mobile phone and social media is the new TV. That's what I'm trying to say here. So people say, Hey, it's only young people spending time on social media. No, the average American, all age groups, the average American are spending two and a half hours per day. That's insane. Think about that. So if you're just fooling yourself telling that it's only young people doing social media, it's not true. My grandma's mother is on social media. Why? Because she likes to share images or see images from her grandchildren. See videos be in Facebook groups, talking about a bunch of different things, recipes, and you know all of that. The average American is spending two and a half hours per day on social media. Some people are standing in pack lots more than that as well. So you need to start to do branding on social media.
That's the third. Why? Because you can get, you can share videos for pennies. You don't have to do TV commercials for thousands of dollars. You can just share videos on social media with pay traffic for pennies. And if you figure out the traffic game from Facebook, you bring new leads in and then you figure out how to do this retargeting and you do the branding on social media. Do you control the perception of your company? So before a homeowner ever decides to do business with you, they have seen your ads, they've seen your retargeting ads. And leave seen your branding videos, so now they have an emotional attachment to you. You've controlled the perception of your company. Now they start to like you. Now they start to feel like they know you and now they start to trust you. Do you think it's going to be easier to, for your sales guys to sell them?
Of course it is. Compared that to just a cold lead from home advisor and they've been cold calls from five different contractors. They have no idea who you are. They know of idea of what your company does. That's going to be a tough sell. You compare that to a very warm lead. I've seen your ads on Facebook, I've seen your retargeting ads all over the internet and they've seen your branding videos and they are exclusive to you and there are qualified. It's going to be a little bit easier to sell those people. So that's about it for today's video. The new way, how you get exclusive and qualified roofing leads.
