Here are four simple steps to dominate online as a roofing or solar contractor.

So, but for today's video, I want to talk about four simple steps and just sharing how you can start to dominate online in 2020 and beyond. So let's dive into it. So the first thing that I want to recommend that you do is to move over to Facebook.
Escape home advice, color, escape, lead generation, websites, escape offline, you know, outbound Dormont knocking and call centers, escape marketing agencies that promise you the world and they do Google, Google ads and SEO that takes a ton of time. It's super competitive or escape those marketing agencies that they, they sell you those pay per lead type of services escaped that crap. Also escaped Google, right? Because Google is so competitive in the roofing and solar industry. Everyone's doing SEO and Google ads to escape all of that praise only depending on referrals, billboards, magazines, TV, radio commercials, escape, all of that. Forget about it. Move over to Facebook is social media marketing. Why are you asking me why max, why should I move over to Facebook? Cause that's going to be different there. Well simply because all of these things that I just mentioned, everyone is doing that. Everyone is here competing.
So if you just escaped that, move over to Facebook. First of all, you've got to escape the competition. You're going to get better results, easier and quicker. And if you know what you're doing, if you have a proven system in place and you do direct response advertising and you do branding on those social media platforms, you're just going to run laps around the competition. You know, if someone is doing only depending on referrals and you have a proven system in place, you do branding and direct response advertising on Facebook when the competition is pretty much nonexistent. And right now in the roofing and solar industry, you're going to have a lot of fun and you're going to make a lot of money. At least that's what our customers are doing when they do that transformation. So, and just think about it like how much time do you think that the average American spends on this per day?
On the phone, it's like three and a half hours or three hours per day. The average American sometimes spend a lot more, but the average American is spending three hours or half hours a day on this phone. Do you know how much they spend on social media? The average American? Two and a half hours. Yeah. So it's pretty insane. So if you're not doing advertising on thing, if you're not appearing on social media, Facebook programming, those other social media platforms, you're just wasting your time and you're wasting your money and you're wasting potential. That's where the potential is, man. So why are not, you're not going to capitalize on it. And you might think that, Hey, that's too hard for me. I don't know how I am going to implement it. I, it's, I am not a tacky person, you might say, but guess what?
Your business needed. Your business needs, social media, market marketing, your business needs, artificial intelligence and marketing automation. Now the market doesn't care about your knowledge and what you do and what you want to, you know, the market is on this thing. So if your business want to grow, if you want to do the best thing possible for your business, you better move on to Facebook and figure that out. Just saying. So that's the first thing. Move over to Facebook. The second thing that you should start to figure out if you want to dominate online, um, is that you should start to implement marketing automation for business. And AI marketing automation, you need a CRM system that you can automate. There are tons of different CRM system out there. I've tested a lot of them and the ones that we're using and recommending for our customers is the CRM system that you can automate and that you can hook up the social media to those social media marketing platforms so that you don't have to do any manual work when you generate the lead can put them into their CRM system fully automatically.
With marketing automation, you can send out the leads to you, the business owner in two 40 your sales reps. you can also do the followup process and all of that right fully automatically, so you need a marketing automation and a CRM system that systemize your business and makes it efficient. You don't want a 20 person advertising team working for you. The customer have money. You can just spend a couple of hundreds of dollars per year and have computers working for you. That worked 24 seven they never do any errors. They never complain and the work 24 seven and yeah, it's makes your business efficient. It makes it predictable because it's doing the same thing over and over again. And when you have something that works, it's predictable, it never does an errors. Guess what? It's scalable. So you can start off with $1,500 per month in advertising spend. And if you, if it works for you, you can just pour gasoline on it and you can just wrap it up to $20,000 per month or more if you wanted.
So that's the second thing. The third thing that you should do if you want to dominate the online is that you need to start to share branding videos on social media. So again, you know the average American spends close to three hours per day right now on social media, two and a half hours and more than that on the phone. No, that old TV right there, people can't carry around that TV with them in their pockets. But guess what? They can carry around this thing. So you need to do branding, you need to control the perception of your company on those social media platforms. If you want to dominate online in 2020 and beyond. And the cool thing about social media branding is that it's more powerful. You can reach more people, you can reach your target market, you can reach people who are actually interested in your services with your videos.
You have no guarantee for that on the TV. It's cheaper. TV commercials are super expensive, right? So yeah, share videos for branding purposes. Social, social media is insane. Then the fourth and final thing that I recommend that you do if you want to dominate online is that you need to start to target people on those social media platforms. So what is retargeting? Well, if someone just see your ad, your, your, your business or your website or ran online just once, you've just start to retarget those people. Um, and that means that you can show them ads on Facebook, on Instagram, on Google, and you can appear everywhere all the time and you become omnipresent. And that's how you build your brand and build your brand awareness and brings people back to your business. If they've just see no once, it's super, super important and it's cheap as well.
So if you're not doing retargeting, you need to figure that out. So that's been much it for today's video. The four simple steps are move over to Facebook, implement marketing automation and the CRM system that you can automate, share videos for branding purposes, and we're targeting people in all kinds of forms.
