Hey guys, Max Perzon here. And if you've never seen me before, I help both roofing a solar contractors to get more leads, more customers, and ultimately help them to scale their business to that next level by using social media, Facebook advertising. And if you want to know more about that, you can head over to our website [inaudible] dot com if you're watching this on YouTube, make sure to like subscribe and leave a comment down below. But for today and have an awesome video for you, the five step video showing you exactly how to do Facebook advertising for roofing and solar business. So let's dive right into it. The first thing that I want you to do is that you need to set up a Facebook business page for you roofing the solar company, right? And I'm sure that if you have a website, you probably already have a Facebook business page, but if you don't make sure to set it up.
So want to set it up as a local business. Make sure you have a logo. Make sure you have a banner. Make sure that you have all of the information put in there, the correct information, so your address, have an about section, uh, you know, telephone number, your opening hours. Make sure that you fill out everything as as it should, right? It needs to look as professional business. Make sure you have the your company business email they're putting in place that you're using. Make sure that you have your business number, your business address obviously, and all, all of these, all of these things set up correctly as well, right? Then also, what I want you to do is that I want you to invite all of your contacts currently on Facebook. Invite all your, all of your friends or family to like the page so that you get, get some initial likes that always hopes, and then also make sure to post just some organic content on your page.
You don't need to have a bunch of different, you know, you don't need to overboard go overboard with it, but make sure to post some posts there. You know, it's soon Christmas, it's been Thanksgiving, you post something about that. If you have any videos from your company, maybe you have some videos on YouTube, make sure to explore those videos and upload them to Facebook as well. So we have those videos organic on your Facebook business page. If you have any images specific to your company, make sure to upload those as well. Um, testimonials uploaded, all of that, all of those things, right? Um, so yeah, make sure that it just looks professional, that you have some type of content there that are helpful to homeowners in your area, for example. So that's step number one. Make sure to set up your Facebook business page the right way.
If you don't have one, set it up. If you already have one, go through, go over it again and make sure that it just looks stellar. Super important, right? The second tip that I have for you is the Facebook and business manager. So if you just open a new browser window right now, uh, in your Google Chrome or whatever, now my B and you just write in business.facebook.com this is from where you do the advertising on Facebook. This is where you build your campaigns, all of that to go to business.facebook.com log in using your personal Facebook account. If you don't have a personal Facebook account, while you need to go back to step number one again, set that up, create your Facebook business page, and then go to business or Facebook as a common log in. And now what you can do is that you can create an ad account.
You can connect your business page that you have for your business to this business manager accounts. You have an ad account and you also connect, um, well first of all, you might first, the first thing you'd do might be even to create the business profile or whatever. And I might call it, they just walk you through the process. You connect the page to your Facebook business manager down. What I also want you to do is to, uh, set up the payment method. And again, it's free to use, but you need to set up a payment method to even begin to do stuff in there. So set up a payment method and do not use PayPal. Set up your, uh, your credit card or a directly into your bank is always the best. What else should you do? Set up a pixel. So in the menu tool in the left corner where you, when you log into the Facebook business manager, make sure to set up the Facebook pixel.
So what a pixel is, is that you can install this pixel on your website. So when someone comes to your website, Facebook will know who that person is and will be able to identify their Facebook profile so that you can start to retarget them. So that's basically what you want to do here. Uh, go, go into step three. Now you have your Facebook business page, you have your Facebook business manager setup. Step number three is to set up your ad account audience and pixel and I all ready talked about this, but uh, yeah, you need to set up the other ad account. You need to set up the audience and you need to set up the pixel. So I missed the audience. So let's cover that. So inside your Facebook business manager, you've set up your payment method. You've set up your ad account, you set up your pixel.
Now what you can do is to go to the menu up in the left corner. Again, you can locate the bottom that says audience. And then what you can do here is that you can create a new audience. You can tell Facebook that, Hey, I have my pixel right now on my website. I want to create an audience and save everyone. You know, everyone that's been to my website the past 180 days. So you can create an audience like all website investors, 180 days. You tell Facebook which pixel to use, and then you're pretty much all ready to go, right? You can also create a pixel or an audience called like ad engagements. So everyone that goes to Facebook business page or to your Facebook ads, they will be stored in this audience as well. And if you want to know exactly how to do this, I'm kind of rambling through this right now, but if you want someone to actually show you how to do it, like click by click step-by-step.
Actually having me on a video where I literally show you how I do it myself on the screen and walk you through it. Click by click step-by-step from ABC how to do all of this. You can just go to our website [inaudible] dot com and we will hook you up with retraining a bunch of cool stuff. Uh, so that's basically step three, set everything up inside the business manager. Also make sure you know, go to the settings inside business manager and just kind of walk through all of the tabs. We can kinda look through the audience insights to kind of see how that works and what that is. You can read some about the rules, make sure that you're compliant, have a policy page in terms of service page on your website or earning disclaimer if you need that. Make sure that you're compliant with everything before you ever start to advertise on Facebook.
Then step four, so now you have your paid page set up, you have your pixel on your website, you have set everything up inside the business managers, the ad account, you set up the payment method, the pixel, the audience, and all of that. Now what you can do is that now we can create a retargeting campaign on Facebook and it's super, super simple. So remember you have that audience, right? All website visitors past 180 days and you have that ad engagement audience as well, right? So what you can do now is that you can just go into the Facebook business manager, you create a campaign and I would suggest that you do like a conversion campaign. Or maybe that's too tricky for you initially. Maybe you can just do like a reach campaign because you just want to retarget people with some type of content.
So you can have like a reach campaign and if you go there and start clicking, you will see what I'm talking about. You can have a reach campaign and you can either optimize for reach, reaching as many people as possible or you can optimize for impressions. And um, then you can have, you can initially for your first retargeting campaign can just be some simple images and just a, a simple headline. And with like a button back to your website, just so that if someone comes to your website or go to your Facebook business page, just ones, they will start to see ads from you guys every single day. You can put those ads on automatic placements. So it's both on, you know, Facebook and all of their, um, on Instagram as well. And they also have a bunch of other, um, what do they call it, like, uh, you know, on their apps and stuff like that.
So you can just take automatic placements and that will be, you will be shown everywhere. And, um, if you want like examples of what write in those ads or what images to use. If you have branding videos that you have on YouTube, upload them again, like make sure to upload them to Facebook and retarget people with those branding videos initially. And, um, then also in terms of budgets, like you can just check on your audience. So when you created your all website visitor audience, let's say if you have less than 10,000 people in that audience, you can begin with like $5 per day in to this retargeting and vain and you will be able to show all of those people you are adding every single day, which is super, super powerful. Um, and but so that's like the most basic retargeting campaign you can do. You know, you just retarget people with like an image and video and some like invite them back to your website.
But you can make retargeting campaigns a little bit more powerful. You know, you can have a lead form there in place or you know, you can pitch a fee, estimates of that not if people see your ad and click learn more. You can have like a lead form pops up where you know where they can put in their name, email, phone number and address for example to request an estimate. Then you can like hook this up to an online sale system. So, but we're getting ahead of ourselves a little bit here, but you can do a bunch of really cool stuff with it. And again, if you want to learn more about that, you can just head over to our website. But that's that for credit. A simple retargeting and paying and just get it rolling and spend five bucks a day and you know, start to brand yourself and also as your media platforms, is it like $5 a day and it's going to be more powerful than a TV commercial level was.
Then step number five is a cold traffic campaign. So retargeting and paying, you know, if someone comes to your website, you save that person, you start to retarget them. We call that a warm traffic campaign warm. There are people that have already seen your brand and your company and some type of way they've been to your business page or to your website to retarget them. Warm traffic, cold traffic is when you start to show ads to people that have never seen your brand before. They've never been to your website before, they never been to a Facebook business page before. So we call this a cold traffic campaign and this is really where it gets a little bit more expensive and this is kind of where you need to know what you're doing. So you need to know, first of all, know how to build a campaign the right way.
Are you going to use like a, um, a campaign budget optimization or going to put the budget optimization for an initial ad sets? What audiences are you going to target? Are you going to use videos or images? What headlines should you have? Uh, you know, what should you write in your actual ad? What happens when someone clicks on the ad? Um, do you save the leads into your CRM system? How do you follow up with people? Are you utilizing marketing automation or not? How do you do the retargeting? A little bit more? Um, a little bit more professionally or advanced. So, you know, when you do cold traffic campaign you have to figure a little bit, a few more things out. You have, it's a little bit more, it's not more complicated I would say, because when you just set it up once, it will pretty much run for itself, but you just need to know how to set it up, right?
You just need someone to showing you a manual how to create everything. Like, and that's what we do at each of the calm. Like we give you what audiences to target, how to build the campaigns, click back, click, we show you what to write in the ads, what images to use, what videos to use, how to set up the retargeting campaign, how to set up the pixel, the page. We show you everything and we just give that to you so you can just go to lead through from that. Call me for wanna. Check that out. Um, but yeah, I, I think that's about it actually for today's menu, like five years, ways to get roofing this all the leads and customers from Facebook. Let's just go through it very quickly. Again, the first step is, you know, set up your Facebook business page. If you all don't already have one, if you already have one, make sure to just go in there again, no fix.
Make it look a little bit better. Upload a high quality logo, upload a real good banner video or a banner image on top. Uh, you know, invite your friends and family to like the page. Make sure that they have all of the information, put in the opening hours to address the phone numbers, the right email and about section and so forth, and have some organic good looking informative organic posts on there. So if someone just go to your page, it looks professional, right? You can even put in your services, make sure that you have the right type of page, make sure you have a, a, um, service-based page, like the categories right and so forth. So that's the first step. Step number two, go to the business.facebook.com go to that website, set up a Facebook business manager account, kind of look around in there, make sure you have an, you know, a business, um, like ad accounts.
Set up the right way. Go through all of the different tabs, read some, make sure that you're compliant and so forth. Uh, step number three is to set up your ad account, your audience and your pixel. And you can also connect your page to your Facebook business manager. Uh, set up a payment method as well. And I recommend that you use a credit card or a bank. You can also, you know, go to settings and there's a bunch of tabs. Here's where you can like invite. If you have any marketing person on your team that's going to handle this for you, you can invite that person so that he or she gets access to the ad account and all of that, right? So that's this third step. The fourth step is, you know, when have your pixel set up, you have an audience set up of all the website visitors past 180 days for example.
Now you can create a very simple retargeting campaign. So just tell Facebook, Hey, I want to show this ad to everyone that's been to my website the past 180 days. You can spend like five bucks a day and everyone that comes to the website are gonna see ads from you on Facebook and Instagram every single day and tried to get them back to your website so that they don't forget about you, right? And you can be very creative with this initial simple retargeting campaign. You can have like, you know, sharing some images, talk about your company for branding purposes, or if you have high Colton videos from your company, share those. If you have testimonials from customers, share those. If you have special offers, share those. If you have new products, new industry news that are relevant to homeowners, share those. So you can just like be, be very, uh, it can be very creative with those retargeting ads because they, they're so cheap, like five bucks per day to show up to 10,000 people in your audience and the ad every single day or two times per day.
And then the fifth and final step is to figure out the cold traffic. So here it might be, you'd spend like at least $50 per day into cold traffic and paid $100 per day if possible, or $80 per day. And, uh, but now when you create a cold traffic campaign, you're not telling Facebook to show ads to people that have only been to a website and all you ask them to actually show ads to people on Facebook that have never seen your brand before. So you know, can choose what area to target you to have. What I want to show a, I want to identify homeowners, um, in my state around my city, like 30 miles around my office. Um, you know, you need to know what ages to target, what genders to target, what audiences to target, what interests the target, what to write in the ads, what images to use, how to have an online sales system hooked up to this and all of that.
And that's exactly those little bit more in detail stuff. Uh, we just give that to you. That's what we show you how to do exactly step-by-step. Click by, click on the truth from the call, my to show you how to automate it through. Don't need like marketing agency to do all of this work for you. You can just automate it with artificial intelligence and marketing automation, which just you just set up one click play and then it pretty much runs for tell. We can check on it once per day just to make sure that it's working correctly. And then you have escaped from adviser and regeneration sites and all those marketing agencies as well. They charged you 2000 or $5,000 per month to do the work for you. You don't need that anymore. Truth be told. So hope you found this video somewhat interesting. It's very easy to do all of this.
You just need someone to show you how to do it again, right? And, uh, by me just talking about it right here, I have already given you some directions how to do it and how to get started. So that should be enough for you to get started and start figuring out and read some more and educate yourself and all of that, right? And this information is all for free as well. So if you'd like that instead of subscribing and leave a like and a comment down below, if you have anything specific that you'd like me to talk about. So that would be it. My name is Max Perzon again, and thank you so much for watching. Make sure to check us out on [inaudible] dot com and have an awesome day.
