Here are six tips to improve your roof from the solar advertising campaign.
Hey guys, Max Perzon here. And if you've never seen them before, I help both roofing and solar contractors to get more leads, more customers, and ultimately help them to scale their business to that next level by utilizing social media, Facebook advertising together with our online sales system. And if you want to know more about that, you can head over to our website. And if you're watching this on YouTube, make sure to like subscribe and leave a comment down below. But for today's video, I have six very simple steps that you can implement for your roofing and solar business if you want to improve your online advertising campaigns. So let's dive into it. So the first tip that I have for you is to start to utilize a service called agile agile.com and what agile helps you to do is to share those banner ads across the entire web, right?
The Google display network. So if someone comes to your website, you can retarget them. You know when you go to Amazon for example, and they look at a pair of new Nike shoes or whatever that might be. Then you leave Amazon and then you start to see those Nike shoes all over the place. You know on on your phone, on social media, on all the websites you visit and so forth. So you can retarget people on Facebook and on Instagram and on the Google display network you can use YouTube videos as well if you want to. But what agile.com helps you to do is to do the D, the display, the Google display network retargeting, those banner ads. So go to agile.com it's free to sign up, you just sign up, you go through their little process there. You get like a code snippet that you can just copy paste into your website, takes like two minutes.
Then you can start to save people that comes to your website and they'll start to retarget them. It's super simple and they also have great support. They have like a live chat that you can do, just open up within and within a few seconds you have someone helping you there. And I just want to mention I'm not affiliated with them or anything, I'm just using their services and I like it a lot. So make sure that you go to Admiral, sign up, it's free, create some banner ads and install the pixel and then start to retarget people. And you can begin for as cheap as like five to $10 per day. And that's gonna like cover like up to 10,000 people, uh, that you can retarget to every single day. So abu.com highly recommend. The second thing that I have for you is bannersnack, so bannersnack.com so what bannersnack does is it's a website and the service that I use myself personally as well, so you can just sign up there.
It's a premium service, I think it costs, if you've got to have the right package, it's going to cost like $200 per year or something like that. And what you can do with binder snack is that you can create your own display banner ads so that you can, you can create them within bannersnack. Instead of paying a designer thousands of dollars or hundreds of dollars at least to create those banners for you, you can just create them yourself from bannersnack. Then you can upload them to ad roll and now you have some customized for your business and you can update them during holidays if you want to. And $200 per year is like a, it's like great praise rate and um, yeah, it's a very simple to, to design the best wall. You don't have to be a designer or anything like that. They have a ton of templates that you can use and just um, you know, you just upload your own logo, they're your own colors, some of you, some of your own texts, some of your own images and then you're done.
And they have a like a generator, like a banner ad generator. That's why I need to pay like $200 per year. So you can just like, you make a design once and then it auto generates like for all different sizes because you can have banner ads like this and then can I vertical ones and then you can have square ones and you just create the one design and then it auto generates all of them for you. And you can also have like, you know, animated banner ads. So they are moving and so forth, uh, which is super simple to to do it and do as well. So I recommend that you use bannersnack to create the ads and then upload them to Admiral. The third tip that I have for you is to set up a Facebook pixel, right? So if you're not signed up yet with the fee, the Facebook business manager, I highly recommend that you do.
You just go to business.facebook.com you sign up, it's completely free. You set up an ad account completely free. You don't have to pay a dollar for it. Set up your Facebook business page, um, set up your ad account, set up your payment method if you want to start to advertise. And then you can also set up your own pixel on Facebook. So what a pixel is is same thing as Admiral. You just installed a little cold snippet on your website. Then, um, you know, you can copy paste it. I need to just cut and paste it into your WordPress site or your WIC site or whatever. Now you now might have, and what you can do then is that you can also start to save people. So if someone comes to your website, you can save that person into an audience as it's called and then you can start to retarget them exactly like Amazon does with those Nike shoes for you.
Right? And it's super cheap as well. You can start off with like five to $10 per day. And if you want to have some more like information about how to create a retargeting campaign for your roofing solar business, you can just go to leach roof and dotcom. And we have like a step by step process showing you click by click, how to do every everything. So I highly recommend that you check that out. Retargeting is like super powerful and it's also one of the most inexpensive marketing methods that you can do $5 per day or $10 per day and you will, people that have been to your website just once would start to see ads from you guys every, everywhere, every single day. Then we have a point number four and that is to actually retarget people on Facebook and Instagram. So I went ahead of myself, no install your pixel.
Then when once you've done that, you create a retargeting campaign and again we show you how to do that on our website. But basically how you do it is that after you've installed your pixel on your website, you can go into the Facebook business manager again, you can just verify that the pixel is installed correctly. Then you can go up to the menu and you just click on audiences and then you can create an audience within Facebook that says all website visitors past 180 days. Um, so for the past six months you can save every one that has been to your website and you can build your own audience. So if you have like 50 people per day or like 20 people per day that comes to your website, your audience will build bigger and bigger over time, right? So eventually you will have like thousand to 10,000 people within your audience and then you can just start to retarget them.
You can retarget and start to retarget them immediately as well if you want to. So you set up the pixel, you create the audience. Once you have your audience, you go into the ads manager, you set up a very simple retargeting campaign. You basically just tell Facebook that, Hey, I want to show ads to people that have been to my website past one and 180 days. You can send them a daily budget of like $5 per day, and then you have your retargeting up and running. Since Facebook owns Instagram, you can do it both on Facebook and Instagram, which is super, super powerful. Then point number five is branding videos. So you can do retargeting in many different ways, right? Once you've set up your pixel, you have created your retargeting campaign and you actually start to share your ads on Facebook and Instagram or on Adderall as well.
Like what are you actually going to show in that? And here you can be very creative. I always recommend that you have like a direct response type of ad where you're like pitching a free estimate. You know, homeowners start to see your ads where you tell them that, Hey, you can get free estimate, just put in your information for example so that you generate the lead. Um, that's one way to do it. But then you need some type of conversion system in place that actually what happens to the lead, you'd save, save them into the CRM system. How do you, how do you track everything? Um, how do you automate this? With computers it becomes a little bit more, um, I wouldn't say complicated, but you need to figure out a few moving parts. Uh, but if you do, it's, it's super powerful and you can just automated everything with computers as well.
So it's really, really good. And if you want to learn how to do that, how to do a real direct response advertising campaign for your roofing solar business and start generating exclusive leads by business for like 10 to $20. You can go to [inaudible] dot com and we'll show you how. But so that's one way to do it, like direct response ads. But then you can also do branding when you do those retargeting ads. So maybe you have some high quality videos, maybe you've hired some type of a media agency before that I've created really good, uh, you know, branding videos for your company and you just kind of posted that video on your YouTube channel or on your Facebook page. You just posted it there and you got like 20 views. What you can do now with those high quality beauty videos is that you can just distribute those videos on social media in your retargeting campaigns.
Now you will get like hundreds and hundreds of use and meet immediately to retargeting and venue. Eventually it will get thousands of views off those videos. So if you had really good videos, like put videos into your retargeting campaign and build, build your brand awareness that way. So when someone comes to a website just once, now they will 100 100% for sure. See your branding videos on Facebook and Instagram every single day and that builds your brand. And over time people will start to like you, they will start to trust you and ultimately they will feel like they know you when you've shared enough branding videos and then have branding content, um, to them. And when a homeowner feels like they know you from Brandon content, like your sales process to the person is going to become like a hundred times easier. We've like our customers have tested this, they only did like a direct response advertising campaign first only pitching, you know, if we estimates that great results from that.
But then when they implemented like a branding campaign as well, sharing those videos on top, like together with those direct response ads, their sales conversions just spiked because homeowners now like felt like they knew them. So, um, and that brings me to the last point and that's point number six. And that's Facebook, um, campaign budget optimization or CBO. So this is something that is rather new and uh, this will not make whole lot of sense to you unless you're already doing Facebook advertising. It's a little bit more advanced, but I thought why not shared? So, um, up until very recently what you did on Facebook when you created a campaign was that you had an ad budget optimization. So when you created on Facebook, when the advertiser have to campaign within each campaign you have different ad sets and within each ad set you have different ad variations.
Again, if you have no idea what I'm talking about, that's totally fine. But if you do know what I'm talking about, you do know what I'm talking about. So that's called ad set budget. You set up an ad set budget, so maybe had like 10 different ad sets and then you had $10 for each one and you did your testing that way. But what Facebook did now very recently is that they rolled out something called campaign budget optimization. So instead of having like 10 ad sets and having a specific budget for each one, now you can just set the budget for the, for the campaigns you said like, yeah, I want to spend $80 per day into this campaign. Then you can just create 10 ad sets again if you want to, but Facebook is going to do the optimization for you. So it's going to test all of these ad sets out and it might spend $25 to one and $10 to another one and then $13 to another one and then $0 million to the fourth one.
So it will, you don't dictate how much money goes into each ad set. Facebook kind of optimizes that for you. So we've tested this very recently. I've tested it for my own campaigns and for our customers campaigns and our customers that does this themselves have tested it as well. And we've seen some great results from, from the campaign budget optimization. Um, and yeah, if Facebook rolls out something new, it's probably a good indicator that you should use it. So if you haven't tried campaign budget optimization yet for your cold traffic campaigns or for your retargeting campaigns as well, I haven't really commend that you do. Just test it out. You can still use the exact same targeting that you're currently using, the exact same ad sets. If you have a proven ad angle and proven ad images, um, already you, you know, do exactly as you've done it, but just change the campaign to a campaign budget optimized campaign is dead.
And uh, yeah, it's very simple. You just go to the campaign and you just turn on campaign budget optimization and you've put in your daily budget. So that's it for today's video test ad roll test bannersnack set up your Facebook pixel, start to retarget people on Facebook and Instagram, great high branding videos and share those in indoor retargeting campaigns. And if you haven't already, make sure to check out the Facebook campaign budget optimization and see what type of results you get from it. So that would be it for today's video.
