But for today I have an awesome video for you guys. I'm going to talk about six things that will help you roofing, roofing the solar business tremendously when you decide to do on an ad.
I have some notes here in front of me, so I will just quickly recap what I will talk about. The first thing is paid video branding campaigns. What that is and why you need to do it. The second thing is a conversion system. What that is and why you need a conversion system in place if you want to be able to just dominate online right now. The third thing is retargeting campaigns and you want to be able to learn how to do that on all platforms to what is retargeting and why is it so important and powerful. The fourth thing I'm going to talk about is automated followup. You don't want to do manual followup. You don't want any leads fall through the cracks. You want to have a system that does the automation follow up for you. The fifth thing is artificial intelligence, how that affects your roofing business right now and also in market leads. What that is and the sixth and final
I think that I will talk about is direct response advertising and tracking. You need to be able to track your marketing efforts when you do online advertising. If you don't know how to track online, you're just going to lose a ton of money, so let's dive into it. The first thing is paid video branding campaigns. So this is super important and I'm going to just go through this points
rather quickly since we have six of them. So I talk a lot about branding and my videos here on YouTube. Why? Because I used to be against branding. I didn't like the idea of branding because TV commercials and radio commercials and all of this offline print, billboards, magazines and all that, all of that old school jazz is expensive and it doesn't really work that well. You cannot track it. But more importantly it's, it's, it's expensive. It cannot track it. So I used to be a direct response guy. You know, we only do direct response ads where we do it and we just tried to get a response from the customers and we can track the cost per lead cost to acquire new customers, blah, blah, blah. We do that all day. But now when social media is starting to become super big and like the average American spends about like two and half hours on social media and spends like three hours on the phone every day, think about it.
The average American spends 20 hours per day on this thing and two and a half hours and so on. Social media. That's insane. Right? So with that we can start to do branding on this thing is that we can start to share high quality branding content on this thing on social media instead. Why? Because we will control the perception of your roofing company. You want to do that. If you want people to like you, you want people to trust you, you want people to feel like they know you when you advertise online because if you share that type of Bandon content on social media together with direct response, people will feel like they know you and when they feel like they know you, they will do business with you. So if you do branding online and on those social media platforms the right way, you will notice that people will, the sales conversions will go off a lot.
It will be a lot easier for you to meet people when you go out to do their estimates and so forth. We could peak because people feel like they already know you. So branding is a huge secret behind increasing your sales conversions and getting better results when you advertise online. So make sure you can do branding online and we show you exactly how to do that the right way. You don't have to spend thousands of dollars right now on branding, on social media. You can get high quality views from real homeowners in your area that are interested in your services. You can get used from these people on social media for just a couple of cents. So if you want that, I'm sure you do want that. You should want that unless you just are happy with your roofing business month fast enough, right? So that's the first thing. The second thing that I want to talk about is a conversion system.
So you need some type of online sales system in place for your business. A conversion system. So what do I mean by that? Well, when you start doing the online advertising on let's say Facebook, right? Facebook is the best traffic path form for roofing and solar contractors. Right now you build your advertising campaign, right? Way, your structure, you, you know what to write in the ads, you know, what images to use. Do you know what audiences to target? You have everything prepared and set up. You press play, you start to generate leads. What happens then? That's the conversion system. You need this traffic to go somewhere and you need this system to convert traffic or eyeballs from new people. You need to convert traffic into leads and you'd need this system to convert leads into new customers. And finally you need the system to follow up with leads that didn't convert into new customers, right?
So you need to follow up, you need to automate that. So not all of your leads are going to convert initially, right? You can increase that conversion number by doing branding. Really, really Martin and the right way, but still, not everyone is going to sign up the first time. You're not going to sell 100% of your leads if you do give me a call and I would like teach me. Right? So, um, but yeah, you need an online sales system in place that convert that that is systemized and automated. You don't want to do any manual type of work right now, right? So you want to automate this with marketing automation and you need an online sales system in place and some leads are going to fall through the cracks. We need to be able to follow up with them. You need to automate that as well. So that's the second thing. And we have the best online sales
system and conversion system in the entire industry. If you ask me obviously, but I've tested like millions of different components and part of them, we have like a solid conversion system in place. So if you want to know what that is and get it set up for your business and automate it
with marketing automation, you know where to go. The third thing that I want to talk about this retargeting campaigns on all platforms. So what is we're targeting? Well, let's say you go to Amazon, right? And you're going to show up, uh, a new pair of earbuds. So you check on a pair of new earbuds, you like them and you're, you're about to buy them, but then you're like, no, I'm just going to wait. I'm just gonna Irma. I'm hungry. I'm going to go something to eat right? And then you forget about the earbuds and uh, then you do something else and then you have forgot about them completely. But then what happens is then like during the evening or something, you open up your phone and you go to Facebook and you're like, Hey, do you use those beer bucks again? Interesting. Let me go to Instagram. You see those buds
again? You go to YouTube and an ad pops up for those earbuds. Then you go to your favorite news websites or your favorite food blog or whatever. Now might be in there. You see those earbuds again and that's retargeting. So that's cross platform retargeting. They are showing you their ads on all platforms and that's what you can do and should do.
You're roofing this whole business as well. Then the best part about retargeting is that it's super powerful, super effective because you only show ads to people that have already shown interest in your business, been to your website, senior and um, you know, or mint your Facebook business page or something like that, right? So they already know who you are. So it's very effectively, you know, you get a lot back to your money when you do retargeting. And also retargeting, it's super cheap. It's very cheap to do retargeting. You can spend like five to $10 per day initially and uh, you will get a lot of return on your investment. If you're not doing retargeting, it's stupid. You should definitely do retargeting. That's like the first thing you should begin with. So yeah, that's the third thing we're targeting. The fourth thing is automated followup. So I already talked about this a little bit because it uh, you know, when you have your online sales conversion system in place and people don't convert from leads and the customer initially, you need to be able to follow up. So you want to do that follow up, but you want to automate it with something called marketing automation. We need self-explanatory, right? You want to automate marketing, marketing, automation,
marketing automation is, it's the future for sure. AI and all of these awesome technologies, so you want to be able to automate and follow up with your leads and you want to automated and then also this retargeting that I just covered, that's also a type of followup, right? And that's also completely automated so and it's so, so, so powerful. It's just like someone comes to your website, you know who that person is. You will start to retarget them to show ads across the entire thing and make them
requested for the estimate and they don't answer. You know, you haven't all, you have a followup process there as that's completely automated. So it's just, it makes you save a ton of time by doing automation. It systemize your business, it makes the user experience for the homeowners or you know the businesses in your area that are interested in your services. That makes the user experience for them a ton better as well because everything is systemized and everything just clicks. Right? So that's automated follow up. The fifth thing is AI and in market leads. So what is that? Well, I'm sure you know what AI is, right? Artificial intelligence. It's like it's intelligence, it's like cold that can teach itself. It's, it's insane. Truth be told, I don't even,
not myself personally exactly how it works. I don't think a lot of humans, et cetera. I don't even know. I don't even think that Elon Musk know exactly how AI works. I just know that it's super, super powerful and we can utilize it right now when we do online advertising and when we do business in, in 2020 and beyond. So that's AI, right? It's like intelligence. And you can use
place this to like automate things even further in your business. And then we have in market leads. So what is InMarket leads? Well, it's leads for homeowners in your area that are in market, actively searching for your services. So there are people right now in your state or in your city or like 50 miles around your company that are active certain for your services. And then then there are some people that are like kind of looking for services and then there's some people that are like, yeah, maybe. And then there's some people that are not interested in your services at all. Right? And so there's like different stages that people are in when it comes to buying or interest interested in your service, right? So obviously you want to be able to identify the people who are in market and advertise to them and you also want to identify the people that are kind of looking for your services and advertise to them and so forth, right? So you can pay, identify who those people are or utilizing algorithms and so forth on Facebook. And then you can utilize AI and machine learning and artificial and utilizing a conversion system that I've just talked about to identify those people, show online ads to them, retarget them on all platforms.
I have an online sales system in place that converse those people into leads. And ultimately customers, right? I'm starting, I'm sure you start to see the whole picture here. You can just automate so much with online ads right now an InMarket leads an AI is super important to be aware of what it is and how you can apply it to roofing business and it might sound super confusing and hard, but trust me to really not. Basically what you do when you want to utilize something like this is that you set up for your system. You get a proven system
mean it's like a plug and play system that's very simple to use. You set it up for your own business so that you own and control it. You prepare everything and then you push play and then like 95% of everything is automated so you can just kind of sit back and lead through, start to come to your business because everything is automated and systemized. Obviously you have to call the leads yourself manually. We cannot automate that yet. And you also have to check on this system like once per day. Like we need to know how much money you're into it, hunting, how much money you're getting out from it, the sound asleep. And that takes like 10 to 15 minutes a day. But then everything else is automated. You don't have to be stressed out about followup and all of this stuff like branding. Oh my God, you know, home advisor. Oh shit. The ripping holds off on all of this marketing agency almost that
you, well, you know, you can just own your own system and automated yourself and you have you own and control it and you have computers working for you and never complain and it's just awesome. Right? So that's the fifth thing. The sixth thing that I want to talk about is direct response and tracking. So I've already touched upon this a little bit now already, but you know, direct response,
you can track everything. Uh, you, you, uh, you place direct response to like identify new people out there on the web. You show them an ad, you pitch them a free estimate. And so forth. Right. So we do direct response and you can track everything when you do direct response online and that's all the automated because you just have like a dashboard that kind of calculates everything for you. Instead of doing that manually trying to sit down. Okay, how much did we spend on TV? How many leads did we get from TV? Jesse? You don't know. Okay. Okay. How many leads did you get from the radio? We don't know. Okay. Uh, how much did we get from direct mail campaign you think you think that we got okay. And how many leads did we get from the billboards?
We don't know. Right. Or you just go to Facebook? How many leads did we get yesterday? Okay, awesome. How much did, okay, how much did we pay per how many customers? Yeah. Okay. How much revenue did we get in? Yeah. And uh, okay, so what's your, what's our ROI for yesterday? Awesome. Done in 10 minutes. You know, that's why it's so important to be able to
do your tracking. I kinda went to stray there, but I went into the zone as my comment. But anyways, direct response and tracking is super, super important. So we want to do that and we want to mix it with branding and that's how we just, that's how we just ramp your business up and take it to that next level. We have some awesome video testimonials from our customers doing this, you know, um, PSO [inaudible] from Florida went from low seven to eight figures in less than 90 days, had to expand her Toro. All of the state had hired 10 sales people and just right away to just to keep up with the demand. We have another roofing contractor that, you know, they doubled their eight figure business, reduce their cost per lead with over 75% even more than that actually
